Membership Terms of Purchase
Thank you for joining The Therapist Network
Here’s what you need to know about this month-to-month, recurring subscription.
Please read these terms carefully as they are a binding legal contract, and we suggest downloading a copy for your records.
You are purchasing a recurring subscription on the terms listed on the order form, which is incorporated by reference. In all instances, you are purchasing one seat license to participate in live and prerecorded masterclasses and community groups with the Network.
Your purchase is governed by these terms, as well as the current and publicly available privacy policy, terms of use, disclaimer, and community standards in effect, and those are deemed incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
Fees and term:
We offer month-to-month, quarterly, annual, and discounted subscriptions for licensed and prelicensed professionals.
If you choose month-to-month, your monthly membership fee is billed on a recurring basis approximately every thirty days until canceled. If you choose quarterly or annual memberships, your periodic membership fee will be collected upfront, and again at the start of each, next quarterly or annual term, until canceled. You are responsible for tracking your renewal dates. We do not send reminders prior to recurring rebills. All rebill dates can be accessed through your Thrivecart account. If you choose to cancel, you must do so at least 2 days prior to your next rebill date to prevent future billings. You will maintain access through the end of the term, and there are no refunds or promotions.
The Program resources and community you are purchasing are housed on Mighty Networks. Leaving the Mighty Network does not terminate your subscription. To terminate, you must cancel your subscription on Thrivecart, or you will continue to be charged and there will be no refunds. You can reach the termination page inside of Mighty Networks on the left hand menu and choose “Manage Your Subscription.”
You specifically authorize us to charge your card on file on a recurring basis for this purpose.
Prelicensed and Trial subscriptions:
On occasion, we may offer a free or reduced fee trial or membership for professionals who are not yet licensed. In exchange for access to the platform and content and events during the trial period, you agree that at the end of the trial period, if you do not continue your subscription by paying a subscription fee, your account and access to content will be deleted.
Trials vary. You will be notified on the sign-up page about the length and cost of the trial, and other relevant terms. Although not specifically listed, the sign-up page details are deemed incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth.
Upon full licensing, you must notify us within thirty days to upgrade your membership.
What happens after you pay:
Payment is collected through Thrivecart. You’ll receive a receipt for your records shortly after purchase and your credit card statement will say Therapist Network.
Please allow up to 24 hours for a welcome email that contains your login details.
Refunds:
Subscription fees are non-refundable and cannot be prorated.
In the event of a chargeback, we will assess an administrative fee to your account for administrative expenses associated with the chargeback.
Billing Issues:
Your access may be restricted or terminated if your payment method fails due to expiration, insufficient funds, or other reasons.
In the event your subscription fee is not paid, you shall update your payment method within 5 business days by logging into your Thrivecart account and navigating to payment options to avoid losing access.
Company’s Rights
We may, but are not required to, unless otherwise noted:
Enforce our terms and conditions and community standards by removing or suspending users or removing or restricting content, in our sole and absolute discretion and without notice;
Monitor, record, or otherwise memorialize interactions, communications, and content appearing on our platform or in our membership groups;
Modify, change, alter, suspend, or terminate any provision of this Agreement, or other terms and conditions incorporated in this Agreement;
Comply with law enforcement or other governmental requests for information about users or content;
(Shall be) Indemnified by you against all claims, losses, and expenses arising out of any proceeding that you have infringed a third party’s intellectual property rights;
Take the platform offline periodically for maintenance or updates, without financial compensation to users.
Your Obligations:
You agree not to:
Distribute, license, loan, or sell access to our platform or other content that is contained or displayed in it;
Upload, post, reproduce or distribute any information, software, or other material protected by copyright, privacy rights, or any other intellectual property right without first obtaining the permission of the owner of such rights;
Share login information with other users, whether for free or paid;
Violate patient confidentiality laws and industry norms when uploading content or engaging with the other participants; and
Abide by community standards then in effect.
Your Acknowledgements:
You understand and acknowledge that Therapist Network is a professional community. You do not receive one-on-one coaching, endorsements, continuing education credit, supervision, or done-for-you services of any kind through your membership. From time to time, the Therapist Network may offer additional paid programs for which you may participate upon paying the additional charge.
Other Legal Terms:
Assignment. This Agreement may not be assigned by either party for its essential purpose, which is participation in and delivery of the network.
Governing Law. This agreement will be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and you irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in Pennsylvania.
Severability. If any part of this agreement is declared unenforceable or invalid, the remainder will continue to be valid and enforceable.
Waiver. The failure or neglect by a party to enforce any rights under this agreement will not be deemed to be a waiver of that party's rights.
By purchasing this membership, you agree to these terms.
